About us

Lismore Art Club was established in 1960 and maintains a healthy, enthusiastic membership. It is credited with the longest running annual art exhibition in the region.

All artists, including beginners are welcome to Lismore Art Club tutorials held on the 3^rd Saturday of each month. Venue location to be advised each month with an invited artist/tutor sharing their skills. Arrive time generally 9am to prepare for a 9.30am start to finish at 3pm and includes a morning tea & lunch break. Bring your own lunch, a small table, easel and art materials. Outdoor plein air days are another feature of the calendar. The cost of each tutorial is $30 for members and $50 for visitors.

Meetings are held quarterly on the first Saturday of March ( + A.G.M) June, September and December.

This year’s AGM & quarterly meetings was held Saturday 2nd March 2024 at Flourish gallery studio space: 15 Casino St South Lismore. Time 10am with light refreshments provided. Financial members can vote. New members welcome. Annual membership of $30 is due annually each December.

The club holds a large variety of books, DVDs and magazines which are available on loan to members. To borrow from the Library contact Linnea who will arrange a convenient time and location for collection, usually on tutorial day.
