About us

Lismore Art Club Inc. was established in 1960 and maintains a healthy, enthusiastic membership. It is accredited with the longest running annual art exhibition in the region’s history.

Once a month the club holds a workshop with an invited artist sharing their skills or members get together to share their interests. These workshops are the focus of the club. Outdoor painting days are another popular feature of the calendar.  See the tutorial pages for more details.

The Lismore Art Club’s Annual Exhibition is held in August and is the highlight of the clubs calendar. It is held in high regard in the art community.

Our 2017 Annual Exhibition will showcase members current visual art and include, as in past years, art by Wilson Park School 

 

OPENING NIGHT on Thursday 17th August 2017 at 6.00pm for 6.30pm

Exhibition times:Thurs 17th August 2017 Sunday 20th August 10am to 8.pm –

Sunday10am to 3pm

Indulge yourself and pick up an original local artwork at this celebratory community event.

LAC coordinates with WP school and contributes with the proceeds of the donation box at the entry to the exhibition.

Wilson Park School is a school for Specific Purpose students and we enjoy them being part of Lismore Art Club Exhibition & art community

The club holds a large variety of books, DVDs and magazines which are available on loan to members. To borrow from the Library contact Meg who will arrange a convenient time and location for collection, usually on tutorial day.
